Penang, 11 April 2025 – Digital Penang had the honour of hosting delegates from Goyang City, Korea, and KinMalaysia for a knowledge exchange focused on deepening mutual understanding of each city’s strategic initiatives.
During the visit, Digital Penang shared its vision and key initiatives under the Digital Economy Master Plan (DEMP) 2025–2030, reaffirming our commitment to Accelerating Penang’s Digital Economy. Discussions centred on Penang’s dynamic innovation ecosystem, inclusive digital programmes, and strong public-private collaboration model.
The session also featured a presentation by Goyang City officials, who offered valuable insights into the city’s innovation agenda—particularly the Goyang Free Economic Zone and Ilsan Techno Valley. These initiatives reflect Goyang’s forward-looking approach to smart city development, innovation-led growth, and fostering global business connectivity.
