Showcasing Excellence at Enter Tigers’ Lair Event Demo Day
The culmination of the year’s efforts was celebrated at the Enter Tigers Lair Event Demo Day, spotlighting remarkable achievements and transformative solutions from this year’s cohort.
The HardTech Inculerator Programme (HIP) recognised Zero Technologies and Wystime Sdn Bhd for their innovative AR-based traffic management solutions, awarding them RM35,000 and RM15,000 respectively. Their cutting-edge technologies aim to reduce congestion, streamline route planning, and enable more efficient transportation systems in Penang.
Meanwhile, the StartupPenang500 (SP500) programme championed ESG innovation, awarding Greenetrix RM20,000 for their pioneering work in sustainability technologies. Their carbon tracking platform empowers Penang’s logistics companies to align with ESG standards, digitalising vehicle operations and identifying high-emission sources. With AI-driven predictive analytics offering 79% accuracy, Greenetrix has already tracked over 700,000 kg of emissions through pilot projects in Malaysia, advancing Penang’s green technology agenda.
The runner-up, MDaat Eco Wellness, secured RM10,000 for their advancements in health tech solutions. Their focus on sustainability is reflected in their eco-friendly products, including sustainable sportswear made from environmentally conscious materials and natural health supplements sourced through ethical practices. By combining wellness innovation with environmental responsibility, MDAAT supports Penang’s vision for a greener, future-ready economy.
This vibrant event brought together investors, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to connect with Penang’s emerging talent, fostering collaboration and exploring investment opportunities that will define the future of the region’s tech ecosystem.
Catalysing Growth for Startups in Penang
Through HIP, hardtech startups refined their business strategies, prepared for commercialisation, and scaled their solutions to meet market demands. SP500 supported early-stage startups by helping them achieve market traction, gain paying customers, and establish a solid foundation for sustainable growth. Both programmes utilised a hybrid model, reflecting Digital Penang’s commitment to agility and inclusivity in a dynamic startup environment.
“Digital Penang remains steadfast in our commitment to transforming Penang into a thriving innovation centre,” said Ts. Ng Kwang Ming, CEO of Digital Penang. “In 2025, we aim to onboard even more startups across hardtech, deeptech, and early-stage sectors, driving toward our ambitious goal of fostering 500 thriving startups by 2030.”
