Accounts Executive

We are looking for an engaging and motivated person who can provide us the appropriate accounting, human resource, and administrative support to effectively implement program activities, as outlined below.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good organisational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software. Ultimately, the candidate should have integrity, excellent mathematical skills, and an understanding of data privacy standards.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • To prepare full set of accounts, Balance Sheet and P&L;
  • To handle daily operation of accounting duty;
  • To monitor company’s cash flow and budgeting to ensure sufficient funds;
  • To maintain financial policies, procedures and guidelines;
  • To maintain journal entries, analyses and reconcile bank statement;
  • To liaise with Auditors and Tax Agent regarding matter related to financial reports;
  • To ensure timely submission of monthly accounts and management reports;
  • To liaise with relevant stakeholders on financial matters;
  • To prepare letters, reports, and other documents relevant to supporting projects;
  • Other ad-hoc tasks are assigned by superior as when required.

 

Job Requirements

  • Candidate possesses at least a Degree/ Professional Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years relevant working experience.
  • Experienced with XERO accounting software and spreadsheet is an advantage
  • Responsible and able to meet deadline;
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
